Comp: $120K Base plus commission.
Roles and Responsibilities - Drive sales growth in the central territory through new markets, customers, and opportunities.
- Manage existing projects & customer relationships, including OEMs and VARs.
- Develop and execute a business plan targeting 20% YOY growth.
- Maintain CRM (Salesforce) for customer tracking and reporting.
- Generate and follow up on strategic proposals, quotes, and orders.
- Understand customer needs to create tailored proposals.
- Collaborate with technical staff to address application requirements.
This opportunity covers the Central Territory: (Manitoba, Canada to Texas, east to Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee)
Travel Requirements: 50%+ interstate travel is expected, covering a large territory with opportunities to manage scheduling. Most deals are closed in-person, so candidates must be comfortable with travel-heavy roles.
Job Requirements - 3+ years of sales experience.
- Knowledge of Mechatronics, Electricity, or Software.
- Background in Motion Control, Machine Control, or Factory Automation preferred.
- Experience with servo and automation systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Fluent in English.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prefers candidates based in Texas, though they will consider other central U.S. states. Texas candidates are more likely to progress due to client preferences.
Nice to have - Working experience with servo/automation companies.
- Familiarity with market trends in industrial automation.
