Position Overview

Mobile Air is seeking driven and results-oriented Technical Sales Representatives to spearhead our market development initiatives. Backed by one of the nation’s largest and most versatile climate control rental fleets, this individual will play a key role in our growth strategy by fostering and expanding relationships with new clients while deepening engagement with existing accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional eager to make an impact across various sectors, including Mechanical Contracting, General Contracting, Construction, Property Management, Healthcare, Industrial Accounts, and IT.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Conduct direct sales calls and presentations to targeted customer segments across the designated market area.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Engage in ongoing product training and stay updated on industry developments to provide expert insights to clients.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of proven success in Outside Sales, preferably within the HVAC or industrial rental market.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
  • Willingness to spend 90%+ of time in the field (travel) engaging with clients.
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial product sales, particularly within the HVAC rental industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities.
  • Knowledge of the construction contracting and engineering processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is desirable.
  • Competitive drive and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Excel, Windows, Outlook, CRM systems, and other relevant software.
