Job Overview: Lmk recruiting solutions is looking for a sales-oriented, mid-career Parts and Service Manager for an industry-leading Automated Machinery Manufacturer in the Greater Detroit, Michigan area. The ideal candidate will focus on guiding the sales of spare parts, managing field service operations, and driving customer satisfaction through every phase of the product's life cycle. This candidate will be an expert in automation and have a background in the machine building sector and automated machinery industries. This person will drive new revenue through part sales and warranties and manage a team of 20 across the spare parts, field service and customer support teams. This role will require domestic and international (North America and Mexico primarily) travel up to 20%.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead and coordinate the parts sales, field service, and customer support teams.
  • Manage production support activities and transition projects from build to qualification phases.
  • Oversee emergency field service responses to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term support contracts, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
  • Drive sales of spare parts and look for strategic growth opportunities.

About You:
  • 10+ years of automated experience is a must; preference to those in the semiconductor or automotive industries
  • Bachelors or Associate's Degree preferred
  • Managed parts and services teams with $10MM+ sales/revenue
  • Possess expertise in automotive powertrain assembly and semiconductor processes.
  • Showcase superior skills in team leadership and customer relationship management.
  • Proven success in orchestrating complex service operations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 tools.
