LMK Recruiting is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team to support our digital transformation and enhance our cloud infrastructure! The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to support our daily operations. This role involves working closely with IT and research teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support and management of infrastructure including 3rd party hosted data center and cloud-based systems. Assist with the creation of the migration process of legacy systems to the company's cloud environments. Providing management updates. You would work on provisioning infrastructures using scripts, transition on premises infrastructure to Cloud and implementing new scalable global AWS environments. Additionally, you would perform maintenance, upgrades and optimization as needed.

Qualifications

• General knowledge on Data center designs and architectures and Basic Business contingency scenarios.
• Best industry practices for building Cloud infrastructure as a code.
• Various 3rd party tools/products available for monitoring and security.
• Networking (TCP, HTTP) and security (firewalls IP table, SSH)
• AWS Cloud services (VPC's, IAM, SNS, API Gateway, CloundHSM, KMS, Shield, Macie)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience.
• 2+ years of Cloud Technology experience, preferably AWS.
