Job Title: Lead Installer | $25-38/HR

Position Overview:

LMK Recruiting is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Installer to oversee the installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen equipment. This role is critical to our projects, including new builds and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing commercial refrigeration equipment, but we are also open to candidates with a strong construction background who can read blueprints and schematics and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:

  • Lead the installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen equipment for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards for quality and safety.

• Project Leadership:

  • Oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring that timelines are met and installations are completed according to specifications.
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors on job sites to ensure smooth project progression.

• Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installations.
  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with the project plans and specifications.

• Quality Control:

  • Conduct final inspections of installed systems to ensure proper operation and adherence to design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure effective communication and project execution.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior installers as needed.

Preferred Candidate Background:

• Experience:

  • Preferred: Previous experience in installing commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Consideration given to candidates with a strong background in construction, particularly those who have experience with HVAC or refrigeration systems.

• Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage installation projects.

• Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or related installation work.
• Ability to work on construction sites, sometimes in challenging conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment as required by the job.
