Comp: $120K Base
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth within an assigned territory, expanding into new markets, customers, and opportunities.
- Manage existing projects and customer relationships, including working with OEMs and VARs.
- Develop and execute a business strategy targeting significant year-over-year growth.
- Utilize CRM tools for customer tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Generate and follow up on strategic proposals, quotes, and orders.
- Assess customer needs and develop tailored proposals to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure application needs are met.
Travel Requirements
- 50%+ interstate travel is expected, covering a large territory with flexibility in scheduling.
- Most deals are closed in person, so candidates should be comfortable with a travel-heavy role.
- Central U.S. (Manitoba, Canada to Texas, east to Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee)
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Knowledge of Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Software.
- Background in Motion Control, Machine Control, or Factory Automation is preferred.
- Experience with servo and automation systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Location
- Candidates based in Texas are preferred, but other central U.S. locations may be considered.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with servo/automation companies.
- Familiarity with market trends in industrial automation.
